10 Line Tuesday

What I Know Today
Tuesday is full of llamas and gray,
What is ordinary to me, could be amazing to someone else,
I desire warmth but the heater, my sweatshirt, coffee, and the fire are not doing it,
I could walk or I could sit in my nest on the couch and drown myself in words from my pen and from my books,
I know if I wait the cat will tear into the bag of food before I can get it in protective plastic,
Glimmers pop out of my life to entice me to write them down.
I decide to walk under the clouds with a short story in my ears,
To read and write and delay my errands for later,
To reach out to writer friends
And plan for the week ahead.
