Ten lines to Celebrate Tuesday

My inner child fairy tale is Peter Pan
Thoughts of escape to Neverland and shadows that have minds of their own.
The dandelion speaks to me of its multifaceted uses and suggests
Red clover tea as a prescription I will take on.
Awe is the illumination of others and the good they do.
I walk and the sun blinks hello
Rejection flows this week like water from melting snow
But I think of how small I am in the scheme of the world
And wonder what use I am and to whom and if it even matters.
My simple life that I adore and I simultaneously consider what to share with the collective I am part of.
