Welcome to my #last100dayproject!
What will you do with the remaining 32 days of 2023?
Today’s prompt:
What image or memory comes to mind when you think of the word “honeybee”?
Many people have strong feelings about bees one way or another. I used to be afraid of bees but are not so much anymore. I haven’t been stung in a while. Wasps are an entire different story.
There is something magical about honey as well which I think contributes to the bees in my mind.
I invite you to search your notebooks and drives for the prompt word and see what drafts you have that you can resurrect and revise.
What will you write today?
A list
A metaphor
A memory
One sentence
A conversation imagined between you and a stranger
Whatever you choose - have fun!
Happy writing!
I invite you to leave a comment!
You belong simply because you are here.

Be You To The Full
*
this hardworking insect delivers pollen
on the dot before a shiny red ball catches his eye
*
now all he can do is play roll the ball
with energy and with young bee glee
*
yes, even the humble bumbling honeybee
can bring joy to the workplace
*
by enjoying a tumble or two before buzzing off
to earn a living for his brief workaholic month of life
