Welcome to my #last100dayproject!
What are you focusing on for the remainder of 2023?
There are 68 days left of the year 2023.
I give you permission to begin today!
Today’s prompt:
What image or memory comes to mind when you think of “library”?
Did you visit the library when you were little? University? In the town where you live now?
What is something that is a library but is not traditionally thought of as one?
The library is my third place. Whenever I have moved to a new town I checked out the library first. It can tell a lot about the town you are considering moving to.
I spend time at the library to people watch , write and to pick up holds. I learned a long time ago that the circulation of books increases the money given to the library. I use my Google Extension to put holds on books that friends or podcasts recommend. I love my library.
I invite you to search your notebooks and drives for the prompt word and see what drafts you have that you can resurrect and revise.
What will you write today?
A list
A metaphor
A memory
One sentence containing the word
A 6 sentence story (Like Meg Pokrass)
A 10 sentence story (like Erin Morgenstern)
Whatever you choose - have fun!
Happy writing!
I invite you to leave a comment!
You belong simply because you are here.
