Welcome to my #last100dayproject!
What are you focusing on for the remainder of 2023?
There are 77 days left of the year 2023.
I give you permission to begin today!
Today’s prompt:
There are all types of magic around us.
What is something you think is magical? What does magic feel like?
What image or memory comes to mind when you think of magic?
I invite you to search your notebooks and drives for the prompt word and see what drafts you have that you can resurrect and revise.
What will you write today?
A list of places or items that are magic to you
A list of ways to be magical
What is a magical metaphor
A memory of a magic incident
One sentence containing the word magic
Maybe you start a conversation with a stranger about the word and that is the story you write. Whatever you choose - have fun!
Happy writing!
I invite you to leave a comment!
You belong simply because you are here.

MAGIC
A breath of fresh air, aswirl,
Smells of seasalt whirlpools.
Then with a whipping of the wind
Over the lapping tease of waves—
Soothing soundscapes wave in peace.
All to put the fall sun to bed.
With this fairly human story,
A once-more-upon-this-day story
Where existing is enough,
We sense the world’s magic awaken in us
For we are spells cast upon the shores
By the glorious moon and her tides.
Yes, it’s high time we rise up tall with worth,
Fulfilling the promise of our birth.
