Welcome to the Tiny Writing Experiments Challenge!! The experiments may lead to poems, or they may not, but they will be short creativity bursts you can play and have fun with!
Day 10 Tiny Experiment:
Window Weather
In Iceland, there is a word that translates to window weather.
Gluggaveður translates to "window weather" and describes weather conditions that appear nice from inside a home, but are actually harsh or unpleasant outside.
Today’s Experiment:
Simply take 5 minutes (set a timer if you like) and look out the window.
What do you notice? What is moving? What is not?
You never know what this will inspire….
I’m jumping in on Day 10, although I’ll try to go back to at least some of the previous challenges. Here’s a little bit of my window weather scribbling this morning:
The sky is opening for the day, warm oranges giving way to cool pale blueness.
The gulls are cavorting, setting a seaside tone.
