In April, to celebrate National Poetry Month, I will post 30 days of Tiny Writing Experiments. I invite you to come along for the ride!
The experiments may lead to poems, or they may not, but they will be short creativity bursts you can play and have fun with!
Day 12 Tiny Experiment:
Lost and Found
What is something that you have found on a walk or a run?
I found a beautiful piece of swirled blue glass on an overpass in Beloit, WI on a run. The other day a little mud man. one time.
Alternatively, what are things you have seen in the middle of the road?
I have seen so many weird things discarded from a car window that haunt me. They are still mulling around in my head. The correct form hasn’t appeared to me yet. Three-fourths of a hamburger in its paper wrapper, solo shoes wishing for their mate, puppets, plastic toys, etc.
Write about these lost items.
