Welcome to Day 4
Day 4
If it is your first day WELCOME! Thank you for carving out 10 minutes for your creativity. If it is not your first day, welcome back! It is day 4!!
You are welcome here wherever you are in the challenge. You cannot do it wrong.
For this challenge, you have committed to 10 minutes a day to be creative.
Day 4:
Think of an empty room. You can close your eyes and take a few breaths here if that is helpful. You can draw the boundaries of a room on your page.
What would you add to this space to make it your own?
Reflection on you writing:
What surprised you?
Is there something else you want to create now?
Did you use all the senses or just certain ones? Why do you think that might be?
Which Accountability Level Will You Choose?
[You can choose differently each day!]
Just create and keep it for yourself!
Hit reply and send your piece or a picture to me! I will read/look at it and send you good vibes and a thank you.
Find a buddy. Send the email to a friend and send each other your creations.
Post in the comments.
Happy creating!
I love the 10-minute time frame. Amaze yourself with what you can get done!
Today's prompt really had me thinking about my creative space and how I can add to it or subtract from it to make it more supportive of my creativity. I wrote "My Ideal Dream Room" today and I'll share the last paragraph of it here:
My study room at present is very close to my Ideal Dream Room, and I wish I could spend more time in it. Giving priority to my creative self is a constant battle, as I always seem to put the needs and wants of others before my own. Keeping this Ideal Dream Room in mind is a good way to house my Muse and take care of her in a way that honors and values our shared creativity. We can make a creative life worth living together without regrets.
This helped. I wrote 562 words toward my #1000wordsofsummer using this prompt and I will continue to use it today. I thought afterwards how a room is a stanza is a room. I am processing a lot. Tammy, great to see you today.
