Welcome to the Tiny Writing Experiments Challenge!! The experiments may lead to poems, or they may not, but they will be short creativity bursts you can play and have fun with!
Day 8 Tiny Experiment:(Maybe medium sized today…)
Bradbury Trio
The Bradbury Trio [reading a poem, an essay, and a story every day] fuels my writing.
This trio structure inspires me to write after I read.
Good Words In = Good Words Out
Today’s Experiment:
What is something you recognize as a pattern or the same in each of the pieces today?
Poem: Cynthia Zarin’s Bruise
I adore Zarin’s work and have used one of her poems as a daily reread for a week to see what I noticed in each new experience.
The line I love from this poem:
The hours last week
turned to glass?
Story: In the Candy Aisle at Walmart #1728, Jubilee Plaza, Arkansas
Essay: There’s Something Unsettling about the Neighbors
What will these pieces inspire you to write!?
You’re Invited!
If you enjoy this type of reading and writing connection, why don’t you join me for the Bradbury Trio course that begins on May 25th? You can find all the details here! There are only a few spots left!
