1. One of the writing emails I use most often is Spiritual Directions for Writers. I am not sure how I stumbled this gem but it has produced some great lines for me! The writing exercises are wonderful. The poems and articles are thoughtfully chosen. I highly recommend subscribing and seeing if it is for you.

2. CHARLOTTE DONLON has begun an interesting project called One O’Clock Central. She is examining her relationship to time and contemplating a quote each day at, you guessed it, One o’clock Central time. She writes a note in response to the quote and then poses a question. I am doing this in my notebook after reading about her process. I have an email service called Readwise that sends me my highlighted quotes from my Kindle books. I chose one of those quotes today and made my note and question. I invite you to do the same.

3. The Bradbury Trio Course is filling up! We begin on January 14! Ray Bradbury suggested 1000 nights of reading a poem, a short story, and an essay for an alternative to an MFA.
