This post is inspired by Tamzin.
I decided to start this get-to-know-you thread to learn a little more about the readers of my words.
If you’re not sure where to start:
Where in the world are you reading this from?
If you could be anywhere, where would it be and why?
If we were to meet for a coffee, what would you like to chat about?
Here are my answers. I usually like to ask questions and not answer them !
As I write this I am sitting in the living room of my tiny house. The house is under 700 square feet. I live on a peninsula so there is water on both sides of me.
I love my life as I have created it now, but trips are great. If I could be anywhere right now it would be Canada because that is where my husband is currently! The other option would be in France where Pam Houston is hosting a writing event! I have a trip planned to Iceland this fall.
If we were to meet for coffee I would love to know your first reading memory. I would love to hear about what you are currently working on and what you are excited about.
Please comment! I really want to know!
I am reading your post from Staten Island, NY. My goal is to one day move into a tiny home by the water so I would probably want to discuss how downsizing was and what you like best about your current house.
I am reading your post on my computer in my second story apartment in Austin, Texas. If I could be anywhere now, I would want to be at my beach house in Port Aransas with my husband; however, renters pay the mortgage and that's who's there now. Like Marta, I'd like to talk to you more about writing like where you get your motivation to write and how you began as a writer. I am also fascinated by the description of where you live, so that would be a part of our discussion, too.
