Happy Birthday to Me!

A few pictures from my all day adventure!

On Monday, I started the day with writing and a run. Chris and I then set out on an all day adventure - part errands and part fun things I wanted to do!

We went to the post office, the library (to return and pick up a hold), the Red Cup, Journeyman, and La Loteria Mexican Bar and Grill.

This is a pin Seb and I purchased at DisneyWorld that last time we were there. We had never seen it before and plan to pass it back and forth to wear.

Chris and I could not go to the winery (closed on Mondays) so we ended up at Journeyman - which was better anyway! The drink below is what I ordered and it was AMAZING! Chris had the fundraiser Old Fashioned.

It was hot, so I had iced coffee from the Red Cup. This is a caramel mocha. DELICIOUS! We ordered egg salad on sourdough, but we ended up with tuna because they were out of egg salad! (This became a bit of a pattern….) We had a picnic in the park across from the cafe. It is one of my favorite things to do. The bookstore was also closed on Mondays!

These were funny and in the bookshelves at the Red Cup. I looked at them as we were waiting for our sandwich.

It took us three times to find an open Mexican restaurant with margaritas on a Monday! Seb and I have this problem often, and know the favorite places that are closed, but our first choice was closed. Google said it was open, the locked door and their sign said otherwise.

Overall, it was a great day! I had many friends send cards and messages and I felt seen!
