The first day of Spring in the Northern Hemisphere was March 20th. Most of the US sprung our clocks forward and I can still feel the affects. I feel like I am constantly in the wrong time zone.

I love winter. I feel prickly and vulnerable in the spring. The summer heat doesn't always agree with me either. I was born in Spring but do not feel like I belong in this season.

How do you transition from Winter to Spring? Do you have rituals or things you change in your personal or writing routines?

I am not immune to the loveliness of the sun on my face, or the ability to run without 7 layers on but there is something that I have difficulty with...

When I was younger I remember a gradual build to the summer. There were temperature increase increments that do not seem to happen now. Is that climate change? Childhood memory vs adult memory? Something else? I am not sure.

I would love to know how you move from one season to another...I need some help over here in the Midwest!

In April, to celebrate National Poetry Month, I will be posting 30 days of Tiny Writing Experiments. I invite you to come along for the ride!

The experiments may lead to poems, or they may not, but they will be short creativity bursts you can play and have fun with!

If you enjoy these curated readings on Tuesdays, I invite you to join the Bradbury Trio course beginning May 25th! The spots are filling! You can find the info here.

The Bradbury Trio [reading a poem, an essay, and a story every day] fuels my writing and I share my curated reading lists so it will fuel your writing too!

This trio structure inspires me to write after I read because I believe:

Good Words In = Good Words Out

My wish is for your reading to engage you in a way that leads to new writing!

Here is this week’s trio!
