If we were having coffee I would tell you…Today is BREAKFAST DAY! It is a rainy gray Sunday here in Indiana. I have been up since 5am and the coffee and breakfast were welcome.
If we were having coffee, I would tell you… the next Full Moon Writing Gathering [FREE] will on January 13, 2025! Stay tuned for more details.
If we were having coffee, I would tell you… Soup Sunday today is French Onion Soup. We will be eating this soup out of special bowls my brother-in-law made too which makes it extra special!
Yesterday, I made turkey and dumplings with a new recipe and it was delicious! I was happy with how it all turned out. It was the first time I had made dumplings too.
If we were having coffee I would tell you…my word for 2025 is SPACE. I have been writing to this word as a daily prompt in my notebook. It means different things to me on different days. I will schedule a time for a deeper reflection of how this word showed up in my life at the end of the first quarter of 2025.
If we were having coffee I would tell you…my good friend’s birthday is today! I spent a little time with her last evening. We had a few drinks, laughed and I gave her birthday presents! Most of it was just silly birthday stuff like a “It’s my Birthday” button and a tiara that says the same phrase.
If we were having beverages together I would tell you…..my asynchronous courses and e-books are available. Find the courses and prompts here.
If we were having coffee, I would tell you… what’s next! A mini Bradbury Trio challenge is happening in January for all subscribers. Once a week, on Sunday, a separate post will be published with a poem, a story, and an essay. I will provide a prompt for you to write into with the readings in mind.
You are welcome to post your experience in the comments, but I discourage you from posting your writing as it is considered published. You are welcome to email me your piece directly if you want a layer of accountability!
If we were having coffee I am excited to tell you… a new round of the Bradbury Trio Course will begin February 16, 2025. There are limited spots for this course and it will be facilitated through the platform WetInk.
The course will run 4 weeks. There will be two themed reading weeks and two writing weeks. Participants will write and share two pieces and give feedback to two other writers in the private WetInk Space.
You are welcome to write whatever form and genre speak to you! The prompts are open enough to accommodate everyone.
More info and registration coming soon!
If we were having coffee, I ask you…what are you reading?

I’m looking forward to the mini Bradbury—I enjoy them and hope to one day take a full course. I’m rereading Rosamunde Pilcher’s Winter Solstice as it’s timely and I’ve forgotten so many details that it’s fresh again lol. Such a heartwarming comfort read.
