I really enjoy reading these, Tammy! The well-earned happiness, peace, and creativity in your life makes me happy 💛 And that Tim Ferris book looks very interesting!
This is just a hello as you requested...maybe not just a hello. My Sunday has included long lingering in bed after mysteriously awakening every 2 hours throughout the night with dreams running the gammut from furious to tender.
Wishing I could hop on a plane and go to NYC to see the new Broadway show called Redwood, a woman/ grief stricken mother (Idina Menzel) singing her heart out over her son who dies and she ventures to the Redwoods-- in my backyard. She learned how to climb up into the canopies for the show (I bet the set is incredible) and talks about the Redwoods' shallow and mighty root system as a metaphor for human connection. But, I am not the free wheeling woman I wish I could be, and cannot leave to see the play.
A chicken is air-drying, ready for roasting. and awaiting portabellas dried mushrooms soaking for a creamy marsala sauce. I will work on my Ray Bradbury piece, watch Nina's sentence zoom lesson I missed yesterday, and wait for more rain. Listening to Iron and Wine and Irish folk.
I look forward to your little Sunday coffee shares every week, they are there to greet me on Monday morning across the pond. I saw a sign for a library I didn't know about, sometimes in Spain those things are a little cryptic and not necessarily easy to find. I'm going on a pilgrimage there this week to check it out. I can get a library card after I've lived here for 6 months, so April!
Hi! I had an unexpected coffee with my daughter today and we got the chance to draw some plans for a desk for composing music. All the tech needs space! I too enjoy these "If..." posts!
I'm drinking my (second) cup of the day's coffee along with you. "The Keys to the Stages of Sorrow" piece is stunning. So moving; many memorable lines. I'm going to keep this one close. Thank you for it.
