Happy birthday Sebastian!
The raindrops fall today. I am waiting for a break in the weather so I can go for my run. I am making no knead bread today. It seems the perfect day to let dough rise and bake, read, and write.
The Bradbury Trio [reading a poem, an essay, and a story every day] fuels my writing.
This trio structure inspires me to write after I read.
Good Words In = Good Words Out
My wish is for your reading to engage you in a way that leads to new writing!
I highly recommend this Daily Nourishment from Spiritual Direction for Writers in addition to these pieces today.
Poem: Two Poems by Emma Bolden
Story: Template of An Argument
Photo Essay: The Secret Art of Dr Seuss
In my past teaching life this would have been the week I would be facilitating school wide events for Read Across America week. The above link is to an art collection that was on the darker side from Dr Seuss. I find this incredibly inspiring. Essay is loosely used this week.
What will these pieces inspire you to write!?
Happy Llama Tuesday!

A little more about me: Tammy L. Evans is a writer, teacher, runner, and coach living in a tiny house on a peninsula with her husband and adventure cat. Her location device is her loud laugh. Her poetry has been published in The Storyteller, FoxGlove Journal, Story Hall, Blue Insights, The Partnered Pen, and others. Her fiction has been published in Gone Lawn, Cabinets of Heed, Spelk, Five on the Fifth, Clover and White, Fiction Berlin Kitchen, and others.
I've seen some of Dr. Seuss's non-Seussian drawings and comics, but these paintings are an entirely different story-- cool!
And thanks for recommending "Template of an Argument"-- not only is it well-written, but experimental forms are always a treat : )
