Three Things to Share Today

1. My friend and fellow writing teacher Sonal Champsee is celebrating her Substack birthday today! Check her Writer Therapy publication out! Sonal is experimenting with a live version within Centered and it was super fun event on Tuesday. She is hosting another “Ask Sonal” session in two weeks.

2. Every year on my birthday I write a new version of “This is 40.” Many years ago, I attended an education conference where I heard Kelly Gallagher speak and he shared a mentor text with this title in his classes. I wish I had saved the link to the original article but cannot seem to locate it. I am writing this year’s version and the drastic differences to my life compared to last year make it seem like it is someone else’s life. I am essentially living my dreams and I could not be happier. Thank you Chris!
