I invite you to join me for a cup of coffee and a conversation.
Thanks to Natalie the Explorer who provides space to link and celebrate Weekend Coffee Share posts!
IF WE WERE HAVING COFFEE I WOULD TELL YOU:
I walked a lot and it has been a great time to write notes and listen to podcasts. Movement seems to have a positive effect. I also discovered how to get the bulk of my route off the main road which is safer for everyone. I did get faster and had to add some length to the walk.
Spark is the word of the month for Centered and the Co-writing session was magical. Centered has such an amazing mix of writers that come together and have such amazing discussions. I always leave a workshop with insight.
I am having fun reading cards from my new Prisma Vision recommended by my friend Nancy S. The deck came with a bonus card of Tiny Elephants. It is a beautiful deck that makes a panoramic scene with the individual suits.
I made chili and homemade cornbread this week when we returned from Florida. Why, oh why, have I been buying mixes to make cornbread? I drizzled some honey and swirled it in the cast iron pan. DELICIOUS!
The first 100 days are important for a great beginning!
I took a class from Kathy Fish this past Saturday about the Single Scene Fiction piece.
Breakfast this morning is a wonderful ritual that I love doing with my husband. It is always the best way to start the week.

Update on my One Word: DEPTH
I have been keeping true to writing at least one sentence in response to text that inspires me to write. You can check out my Five on Friday post for some of the stories I read this week.
WRITING PROMPT FOR YOU
Write about a small object that is more important than it first seems in the story.
