I invite you to join me for a cup of coffee and a conversation.

IF WE WERE HAVING COFFEE I WOULD TELL YOU:
This is the last Sunday of January! I don’t feel great today. It is icy outside. These things are not related.
Breakfast this morning was lovely, as it always is. There is always laughing and talking and lots of coffee. I do love this weekly time with my husband. We had a breakfast date on Friday as well with yummy stuffed french toast.
This week is the last one for my Story Intensive class. It is a bittersweet ending but I also know that our time together is not completely finished.
It snowed a lot this week on Wednesday and Thursday! As my husband says, “It covered the ick.” It is pretty and the snow was heavy and stuck to the trees and made them look like they were decorated with icing.
One of the events I started in Centered is a Topic Talk. The one I hosted this past week was a robust conversation about movement and writing. We touched on breathing, walking, long-distance running, swimming, writing crawls, and exercise. We even created some writing prompts while we were talking!
I had a class on interruptions and writing last Sunday with Selah Saterstrom which took my writing in a different direction than I expected.
I was able to get my hands on a book called Wild Writing by Tina Welling and I am loving every word of it.
