This Saturday Morning

1. Snow on the ground when it was 60 degrees yesterday

2. A sleepy cat smashing himself into the corner of the couch

3. A purple journal with an Iceland sticker purchased less than a month ago

4. A pottery mug that holds my daily elixer

5. Writing feedback comments I did this morning swirling in my head

6. The anticipation of 10 degree “real feel” outside for my run…soon

7. Flames in the fireplace

8. The silence of a writer’s house before 9 am

9. The holds list on the library app

10. A stack of books ready for me to read when I return from the great outdoors!
