Yes! My Oma was originally from Leipzig, Germany. My Opa was from the US.

Have you ever been for a look, find family ? I soldiered at a US Nuclear base mid 60's, spent most of the 70's at festivals in Germania. We could feel change in the air, even then. Took a short break to find family in Paris, returning to play gigs round Schleswig-Holstein early 80's. Good years. My Son took up the baton and is now a Rhein Kapitan. Wir haben das Wanderlust, bestimmt. Peace, Maurice

I know some of my family there. I had an aunt and a cousin that came to visit several times. Also met a great aunt (Who I wished I hadn't. She wasn't a nice person.) I am still in contact with my cousin. He lives in the family apt in Leipzig now. He used to live in Frankfurt!

Oh! And I am glad you enjoy the prompts. That means a lot for you to say. Sometimes you take on a passion project and aren't sure whether people are reading or not. :)

I read somewhere else today that every comment posted is a sure sign of multiple readers. Makes sense, .... I comment on upto 10% of my daily reads.....

Would be double if I could ALWAYS find the right words. Stick, Tammy, to your passion for showing up. It's the best marker for a 'Reliable Creative'

I have been trying to comment more myself on the letters that make the most impact for me...you are correct though. The right words don't always come.

Maybe those Right Words belong in our Stack, rather than in Notes, n'est ce pas. Peace, Maurice
