Merry Christmas Tammy and family! LOOOve pickled onions. Ah, yes, the prompt.... My Mom has been very recently diagnosed with dementia and Alzheimer's. She doesn't do Zoom calls easily and lives on the other side of the country. I am wishing that I had been more curious in conversations with her before I knew how she really is.

These reflective types of prompts are really part of my inner dialogue these days.

I am sorry about your mom. It is difficult. I didn’t have much time with my mother in law once the dementia really set in. I wish there were more resources about memory care and how to respond in the best way so they know they are loved. I wrote a letter in a workshop last week to my Oma who has been gone for 24 years and that was part of my musings to her - that I wish there were things I could ask her now that I didn’t when she was here. My Oma was like my mom. I have done some “perhapings” with what I think she might have said in some cases! I am so happy you connect with the questions. Over the course of this project it has been lovely to read and interact with you over these questions.

Hope you had a lovely Xmas, Tammy. I'm loving these prompts. My mind took me in another direction entirely, fairly disturbing, so I won't include any of it here, but it was productive :)
