If we were having coffee I would tell you…today Chris and I are in Iceland. We are flying out this afternoon. It has been a wonderful time here, as it always is. We did lots of walking and savoring each moment.
We snuck in just before extreme wind caused flights to be cancelled for 24 hours.
If we were having coffee, I would tell you… breakfast day this morning was in the hotel. The breakfast was included in the hotel fee which makes me happy. I love Icelandic breakfast although it was not the same as the last time we were here. The coffee was inconsistent. There was no Arctic Char for the morning either. But there was Skyr! It was so good, especially that first day that I almost cried. It says Skyr on the packaging in the States, but it is not the same.
If we were having coffee, I would tell you… we took the Golden Circle tour on Friday which was an all day event. The driver was a man from Iceland and his family lived nearby. He sang to us and took us to the most amazing greenhouse where they grow tomatoes.
One of the National Parks on the tour.
The view from our hotel balcony.
Inside Hallgrimskirkja, the church downtown Reykjavík. We listened to the organist practice yesterday.
If we were having coffee I am excited to tell you… a new round of the Bradbury Trio Course will begin February 16, 2025. (SOON!) There are still a few spots left!
The course will run 4 weeks on the platform WetInk. There will be two themed reading weeks and two writing weeks. Participants will write and share two pieces and give feedback to two other writers.
You are welcome to write whatever form and genre speak to you! The prompts are open enough to accommodate everyone.
I invite you to read more about it here.
I wish you a Happy Sunday full of delights!

Beautiful photos, Tammy! I miss Iceland. And the real Skyr! Looks like you had an amazing time. Safe trip home XX
This makes me long for Iceland, Tammy. When my daughter went with her friend, they visited that greenhouse. Did you have lunch there? Love this post and the photos, thank you!
