Thank you for joining me for a coffee and a chat today. Let’s pour ourselves a cup and begin our conversation! I am adding cayenne and cinnamon to my cup today for a little zing. I also have pumpkin spice creamer if you like.
If we were having coffee I would tell you… this week was full of catching up and disrupted schedules. Chris and I went on a breakfast date this morning which was delicious! The omelets have been tasty these last few weeks (more than usual). It is a weekly ritual I look forward to with my husband.
If we were having coffee I would tell you… Chris and I were able to sleep until we naturally woke up yesterday which was a beautiful gift for the week. I prefer the slow mornings. It was lovely.
If we were having coffee I would tell you… a story I love was rejected for publication so I just sent it right back out somewhere! I think this might be the publication where it REALLY belongs. I am in a class with Meg Pokrass which has been helpful. I am also in a Gothic class with Beth Gilstrap which is amazing too. SmokeLong Fitness continues and I am looking forward to a new group and a new prompt tomorrow.
I need to look into if OCTPOWRIMO still happens….it was inspiring for me over the past few years.
If we were having coffee I would tell you… CHRIS AND I ARE TRAVELING TO ICELAND THIS MONTH. I might be slightly excited. It will be the first time I am traveling outside of the country and the first time traveling internationally as a married couple!
If we were having coffee I would tell you…I went to a real-life book club on Friday and we went to a new restaurant to me. It was super fun and I met some amazing women who actually read the book. We read THE INVISIBLE HOUR which was not my favorite. There were issues with continuity in the story which surprised me from such a well-known author.
If we were having coffee I would tell you…the #last100days project is underway and I learned from my friend Joy that you can put posts into SECTIONS. I am so excited about this compartmentalization.
If we were having coffee I would tell you… week 9 of the Bradbury Challenge started today. This course has been fueling for me. If you missed it this round I am working on a self guided program that will be available to purchase soon. If you were part of this course I am working on a next step program. Please fill out the poll below to let me know which offering you would like next.
Thank you for joining me for coffee today! I would love to hear something you would tell me about if were having coffee.
