My bottomless filtered coffee from Baka Baka cafe in Iceland
If we were having coffee I would tell you…today I am making broccoli and cheese soup! Chris is making bread to go with it!
If we were having coffee, I would tell you… it’s breakfast day! We look forward to it all week. I did make french toast and bacon yesterday. Chris’ bread that he made earlier in the week was the perfect vehicle for this weekend breakfast!
Today, of course, we stuck to our usual order. The excitement of the morning was that coffee spilled on me! I was thankful I had jeans on.
This is my view this morning:
It is predicted to be warmer today so I will go for a walk later after I get the soup simmering.
If we were having coffee I would tell you….I successfully avoided running errands for a whole week! I left the house on Llama Tuesday but it didn’t seem taxing. I was thinking I need to make my errands another writing crawl soon. I am itching to do so.
One of the places I visited was the library. I checked out more poetry books than usual. I read a lot of poetry but my interest has been reignited lately. I took some amazing classes through Soul Bone . (Thank you to Sue Ann for recommending them!)
I also went back to the library yesterday, but on Saturday it was busy. A toastmasters group was there and all the tables were taken. I ended up going to my favorite coffee shop to work on the Margot project.
Here are some photos from this week:
If we were having coffee I would tell you…while I was working on my Margot project this week I was thinking about the stages of grief and remembered a piece I wrote years ago with that structure. You can read it here if you wish.
If we were having coffee I would tell you…I love Tim Ferris! He is writing a new book and sharing it a chapter at a time because it is working for him. It is about saying no. You can check out the first three chapters here: THE NO BOOK
If we were having coffee I would tell you…the fasting has gone well this week! I have been reading snippets of novels but lots of poems.
I would love to hear from you in the comments even if it is just to say HI!
I wish you a Happy Sunday full of delights!
