Hey! Yes, I read your updates to keep track of you! lol I recently realized we wander the same areas!
Let me know if you want to connect sometime. Otherwise, I believe if it is on a short term the carnivore is worth looking into to resolve medical issues. I know of it via gym bros on YouTube and IG.
Keto was effective for me in losing weight, however, my LDL and HDL became elevated so I stopped. I now understand that it was probably a result of perimenopause and not Keto. Perimenopause is that cause of many issues for women in their 40's and 50's. Going on HRT has resolved many of my issues. Keto indirectly took me off gluten, which I believed helped, so while I can eat gluten, I currently do so minimally. I also eliminated added sugar. In regards to losing weight, for me it has been a calorie in calorie out that made the most difference and lifting heavy.
I love hearing of your travels. You and Chris are so fun-loving and adventurous. Alaska is a bucket list destination for me. I look forward to hearing how it went. Tammy, you truly live a creative life. I'm so inspired. Thank you! xo
I have a travel writing routine! I do make more notes on my phone but also carry a notebook with me. I learned I have to have my computer so I can write quicker. When I was in Canada we were remote camping so I have time that allowed me to focus!
Travel is the best distraction though! I take advantage of the flight time as well. I do good writing in planes and hotels it seems.
I've read about the Carnivore diet a while back when I was on the Keto diet. Lately, I'm seeing more information that it is not a good idea to limit your intact to only meat, especially as we age. I've been watching my macros lately. Priority on protein intake during midlife is important for women.
What I have been reading is carnivore is animal based...so eggs and certain cheese is also included. Many people who have had issues have healed on this diet and blood work to show the progress too. Nothing is perfect. I have learned to use experiments to see what works. I know there are a lot people who don't agree with fasting either...esp longer ones! Always learning!

I watched highlights of Novak Djokovic tennis but mostly no Olympics in my world. Love the athletes frustration with the politics …
Indeed!
