I would absolutely go to a popcorn festival. If we were having coffee, I would tell you that I've been having a very hard time writing lately. For work, for pleasure. It is as though my body and mind are resisting. I talked about it with my husband and a friend, who gave me sweet encouragements and some tough love. I sat down Saturday and banged out over 1,000 words in three hours. It felt good. Really good. Like scratching an itch or massaging a sore muscle.

It is! Lots of booths and crafts. Fair like food. But sweet corn dipped in butter too. And a race called the Popcorn Panic!
